To fix this, every epoch we rebalance the ADA in the smart contract to ensure that no pool is saturated and the ADA is evenly distributed across the pools in the basket. Withdrawing is as simple as depositing. Simply click the withdraw button and choose whether you would like to withdraw your initial deposit or just your accumulated staking rewards. The only time you cant withdraw is during our short rebalancing periods at the end of every epoch.

Levelling up your profile comes with new profile rewards, such as backgrounds, avatars, titles and badges. Much like many video games, unlockables are seasonal, meaning that specific items are only available for a short period of time.

Currently, staking baskets are in testnet, and all fees are in tAda. We are using the information we gather from the testnet to help us determine what a proportionate fee should be once we enter mainnet. We are striving to deliver a viable and attractive product to users and our goal is to make fees as low as possible.

'XP' or 'Experience Points' are points you can earn for completing challenges on Âtrium or on social media. These points accumulate and 'Level up' your profile at certain milestone values. As your profile levels up, you can unlock new items.

Staking - Atrium

Âtrium's staking baskets will pay additional rewards to users for staking on Cardano. Our first staking basket, Diffusion, will pay users ADA + Âtrium tokens for supporting Cardano's decentralization. Community members can create their own staking baskets and incentivize them with their own rewards. We're also working on baskets that pay more ADA than the network average, and we will release more details on those baskets in the next few months.

Staking baskets have been developed by one of the most respected smart contract development firms in the business. They have been audited by Anastasia Labs, another highly regarded team of Plutus developers. Issuers of staking baskets can only change one parameter in the contract, the choice of pools. Funds cannot be withdrawn and are not accessible by anyone other than the holder of the Diffusion tokens. That said all funds are placed at owners risk.

In this tile, you’ll find the list of pools that comprise this Staking basket and what percentage of the basket they form. You may see the percentages fluctuate from time to time, this is due to the staking rewards a pool has accrued that epoch temporarily skewing the weighting. Every epoch we rebalance the basket to restore the percentages back to their original values.

This tile displays the overall performance data about the basket.  How many blocks on average are minted each epoch, what the estimated annual yield for the basket could be. Basket saturation displays how full the basket is, a higher value may indicate that this basket is nearly full, meaning the rewards could soon be less. You can also see how much ada is held inside the staking basket smart contract, the total rewards that have been added to the basket, and what the rewards were last epoch.

Any pool on the Cardano network can join a staking basket. However, for Diffusion, the selection will come down to a community vote. So make sure to notify your network and encourage them to participate in the voting process.

Delegating to one pool comes with the risk that your delegation may not necessarily produce blocks each epoch, especially if you choose a smaller pool. Delegating to a larger pool mitigates this risk but can lead to smaller groups of pool operators running multiple pools, centralizing the network. By spreading your delegation across multiple pools, you can diversify your staking portfolio and encourage network decentralization.

Withdrawing is as simple as depositing. Simply click the withdraw button and choose whether you would like to withdraw your initial deposit or just your accumulated staking rewards. The only time you cannot withdraw is during our short rebalancing periods at the end of every epoch.

Diffusion will be composed of a selection of pools voted for by the wider Cardano Community. A revote will occur every 36 epochs to allow for the composition to reflect the desires of the community. Follow our Twitter and join our Discord to stay up to date on our voting process. This revote period can be lowered or increased based on community requests, and eventually an Âtrium token vote.

Stake pools that are part of a staking basket will be paid the fee they usually charge when users normally stake to their pool. Ada rewards will be distributed every epoch as you would expect.

Staking baskets are smart contracts on the Cardano blockchain that take the user’s ADA and delegate it across multiple pools in the ecosystem. For depositing the ADA, users will receive basket tokens that can be used to withdraw their initial ADA deposit + their rewards. These basket tokens are liquid and can be sent to other wallets. They can also be swapped on a DEX, given that there’s a liquidity pool.

 Staking Baskets is a groundbreaking new innovation and schematic for furthering decentralization on the Cardano blockchain. Developed by MLabs, a renowned specialist in Haskell and Rust, Staking baskets are a smart contract system that allows users to delegate their ADA to a large number of Stake pools in a user-friendly way.

Diffusion needs to rebalance the ADA in the smart contract every epoch to ensure that no pool is saturated and the ADA is evenly distributed across the single pool operators in the basket. In this rebalance period, users cannot withdraw or deposit. This period will be short and at the end of every epoch.

Yes. Diffusion is our first staking basket, pioneering the way and demonstrating how this method of staking affects the network and its participants. Our next pool ‘Karma’ will be a composition of charitable pools, smaller pools, and pools with a provable track record of benefiting Cardano and broader society. Once we have refined the offering and demonstrated its success, we will be open-sourcing staking baskets and allowing users to create their own staking basket compositions.
